This poster presented at the 17th Annual WORLDSymposium 2021 explored how the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of dynamic healthcare applications, particularly for potentially vulnerable patient populations, like lysosomal disease patients.
One study sample showed that over 90% of clinical institutions were able to use video/phone communication to monitor rare metabolic disease patients. In the future clinical landscape, remote patient monitoring will be pivotal in designing more flexible healthcare systems.
