Our work with academic institutions helps drive healthcare innovation, improve service delivery to enhance the patient experience within clinical trials and provide better routine care.

University of Birmingham

Aparito and University of Birmingham create innovative remote patient monitoring solutions including the Therapies for Long COVID (TLC), a long-term study to improve the treatment, causes and symptoms of long COVID in non-hospitalised patients, and the PRiORiTy study, which utilises electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePROs) for people with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) to report their symptoms using questionnaires electronically utilising the Atom5™ platform.

DZNE

Aparito and Deutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen (DZNE) revolutionised ataxia studies by configuring the Aparito Atom5™ mobile app to monitor Ataxia symptoms at home using a validated SARAhome assessment. This collaboration utilises the innovative video capture and analysis functionality of the Atom5™ platform.

University of Cambridge & University of Liverpool

Aparito worked with teams at University of Cambridge and University of Liverpool to deliver the HEAL-COVID study to test a number of safe, existing drugs on patients across the UK in order to find effective treatments and reduce the number of people who die in the months following a stay in hospital with Covid-19.

Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital

Aparito worked alongside Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital with YaAzi to design a digitised outpatient supply chain which will combine remote patient monitoring technology via the Atom5™ platform with drone delivery of medication.
